Question & Answers

1. Why is the Sympatico NEWS service being discontinued?
USENET services were introduced in early days of the Internet as a means for user discussion. Since then, as the Internet has evolved, new applications such as instant messaging, blogs and web based bulletin boards have evolved and reduced the need and popularity of USENET services.

In saying this, Sympatico & BHIS recognizes that there are still those customers who may wish to continue to use USENET services, and therefore customers can access up to 1GB per month of newshosting USENET service at no cost.
